It?s been reported today that Lauren Branning is going to try to ruin her mum and dad?s Christmas Eve wedding as she?s in the midst of what?s been described as ?a destructive rampage.?
That nasty teen temper is rumoured to come to a head after Lauren?s relationship with her cousin Joey is ended by her mum and dad Max and Tanya, who are horrified that they?ve been sleeping together.
And of course, before Max and Tanya?s nuptials, Joey and Lauren are set to risk their lives in scenes which will see them taking Joey?s dad Derek?s car on a joyride which ends in near tragedy when the vehicle crashes and explodes.
The accident prompts Lauren to start drinking again, which of course makes everything ten times worse.
But of Lauren deciding to ruin her parents? wedding day, the Daily Star reports that she will cut up Tanya?s wedding dress, smash the cake and ruin her dad?s wedding suit?
In the aftermath of her behaviour, Max and Tanya are going to be so ?upset, they even consider cancelling their Christmas wedding.
A show insider told the paper, ?Her parents have been planning their special day for months and finally, when everything is done, Lauren loses it.
?She goes crazy, smashing up the house and all the wedding stuff.
?Her parents are disgusted with her and, with no dress, Tanya is adamant the wedding is off. She sees it as a sign not to get married.
?Whether or not they go through with it remains to be seen.?
The insider added, ?Lauren has always been wild but by the time the wedding approaches she has gone completely off the rails again.
?One thing?s for sure, she is not going to be forgiven this time.
?And if [Max and Tanya] do manage to salvage their special day there?s no way Lauren will be welcome.?
But before Max and Tanya find themselves struggling with Lauren and her erratic moods, across the Square, Christian and Syed are having problems of their own in the wake of Danny?s revelation to Christian that he and Syed slept together.
As we saw at the end of last week, Syed couldn?t answer Christian when the latter asked if there was a future for them?
And according to the Star, in forthcoming episodes, Chryed are seemingly well and truly over when Syed throws all of his lover?s belongings out onto the street.
The drama happens after Christian moves in with his BFF Roxy, having told Syed he can see no future for them after all that?s happened.
However, when Syed hears that Christian has decided to move to America to start a new life, he loses the plot and throws his husband?s stuff on to the street in front of his horrified dad Masood and Lucy Beale.
An EastEnders insider said, ?Everyone knows the actors who play Syed and Christian are leaving the soap.
?But whether they will leave together remains to be seen. It?s what people want to see.
?Syed really has made a mess of everything. Even when he hears Christian is leaving he ends up telling him to go sooner rather than later.?
The source added, ?It?s not what he means at all and at first he does try to persuade him to stay.
?But when he loses it, Christian is left feeling he is making the best decision by leaving.
?Whether or not they can ride off together for a fresh start remains to be seen.?
We?ll see that drama on BBC1 a week on Tuesday, but in the meantime, in Monday?s episode, we?ll see Phil convincing Sharon to wear the engagement ring that he?s bought for her.
