GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) ? Authorities have released the name of a man they say shot four people near a Greenville Wal-Mart before police wounded him.
Greenville police Chief Hassan Aden said Sunday that 23-year-old Lakim Anthony Faust will be charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder when he gets out of the hospital. Investigators say Faust was shot in the arms and legs by police Friday.
Police say Faust, of Greenville, shot a man in a car outside a law firm, crossed five lanes of traffic and shot three more people outside a Wal-Mart. Authorities haven't released the victims' names but said all are expected to recover.
Aden says Faust had about 100 shotgun shells.
A phone listing for Faust couldn't be found, and it wasn't immediately clear whether he has a lawyer.
